If so, how do I go about doing that? I imagine it's when my iPhone is hooked to my computer and I have to sync something… But don't see how to do it.
Also, where do the individual apps 'live' on my MacBook? So I'll know where to go to launch them. And I'm hoping I can keep favorites in the Dock - but don't know about that, either.

- Why can't I import the photos from my IPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I have a little over 1000 picture on my IPhone 5 and i want to get them to go onto my Macbook Pro laptop. I asked a few of my friends who have PC laptops and they said that a little pop-up came out in the corner of their screen asking to sync their photos. Well of course my doesn't have a pop-up.
